About Ward's Powersports

Greetings, first we would like to thank you for your interest in Ward's, we're glad you're here. If you're considering the purchase of powersports equipment, selecting the right dealer is as important as selecting the right machine. Wards is a family owned and family operated business. Founded in 1973 by Larue and Brenda Ward along with their son Audie at this time, the company's president. The rest of our team is made up of powersports enthusiasts, most of whom have been customers or employees for years.

Wards started as a very small Yamaha dealership in Troy, A few years later adding the Suzuki, Kawasaki, Polaris® and finally Honda® in 1992 becoming one of the South's largest Motorcycle, ATV and watercraft dealers. Then in 2020 we added Can-am which has us having 6 brands under one roof for our customers to have many options to choose from in our showroom. Wards has grown over the years but has kept the strong customer relationship that we‘ve had since the beginning.

At Wards, we believe very strongly that buying a recreational product should be a fun and exciting experience. While others think that the high pressure, "used car" approach is effective and profitable, we do not. We want you to buy the right machine at the right time. While we know that price is a factor in any business transaction, we don't want to be the cheapest. We want to deliver the best value to our customers, not just the lowest price. We do not believe in quoting one price and then charging another at delivery.

While there are those who are in the powersports business, we do not sell lawnmowers, tractors, cars, boats, or RVs. We believe strongly that it is difficult to do many things well, so we concentrate on doing a few things and doing them right. At Wards you'll find motorcycles, ATVs, PWC, and trailers. We stock a huge selection of parts and accessories and have a full staff of certified technicians.

Our pre delivery staff goes through every unit sold with the customer to ensure satisfaction. We make sure all of your concerns are addressed including warranty, maintenance and safety.
